Jenny's Tamarind Chutney is a true anglo-indian chutney with an exquisite depth of flavour. It's sweetness balances the natural sourness of Tamarind*. There is none of the vinegar taste that dominates so many chutneys, and it is beautifully spiced to create a full flavour with various options of 'hotness' to suit.
Choose between Mild, Medium, Hot and Extra Hot. Even in the Extra Hot, the heat does not dominate the flavour, but comes through later.
It is fabulous with cheeses, the star turn of any sandwich, and wonderful alongside any meats or poultry. Serve it up over cream cheese as a dip, with poppadoms as part of an Indian meal, or use it as a base or topping sauce on a pizza.
