Winter is fast approaching, all too quickly for us here in the valley but there is no need to be glum, there is a hint of snow in the air .....To celebrate we have the perfect cheesy winter recipe right here for you!
Celebrate your love of our delicious Wakatipu White Brie and bake her!
Not only will you look like an absolute pro in the kitchen when you prepare this for your friends and family you will barely have to lift a finger with this "easy as" recipe.
Let your baked Wakatipu White Brie be the star of the evening while you relax with your wine and enjoy this warm comfort food with friends........ but to be fair no one will judge if you decide it's just for you, as you may find it's just be too good to share ;)
Ingredients
200 gms of Wakatipu White Brie
30 mls / 2 tbsp Honey
Optional extras - Rosemary, 1/4 chopped Walnuts or Lightly salted Pistachios
Method
Preheat oven to 200 C
Place your Brie in oven proof dish, we use a ramekin. Add some rosemary sprigs if you decide to add rosemary.
Once your oven is heated up bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until runny and golden topped.
Take out and sit for 5 minutes when ready to serve, drizzle over some honey to taste and serve with your choice of optional nuts and fresh crusty bread.
